Why your biology objects
Whole berries carrying real compounds: goji is dense in the carotenoid zeaxanthin (macular pigment), sea buckthorn in vitamin C (up to ~10× an orange) and omega-7, mulberry in anthocyanins and iron. Dried forms are sugar-dense — portion is the only caution.
