What it is
Twice-fermented apple juice — once to cider, once to acid. "With the mother" means the live culture biofilm is still in the bottle.
Why your biology objects
The active agent is acetic acid, which slows gastric emptying and measurably blunts the post-meal glucose spike (~20% lower in insulin-resistant subjects). "The mother" is a nice sign of minimal filtering but adds little over the acetic acid itself — a healthy condiment, not a cure.
